On the Right Track Remote now on Facebook

15 Jun 2015

On the Right Track Remote is a driver licensing program for Aboriginal people living on the APY and MT Lands.

The  purpose of the program is to improve road safety and driver licensing outcomes for Aboriginal people living in remote communities, where it can be very difficult to get a licence.

It was developed and delivered by DPTI’s Aboriginal Road Safety and Driver Licensing Team in the Safety and Policy Programs Directorate.

Shane Pilot, Caroline Kanja and Dawn Kanofski  regularly visit the Lands, along with a small team of Motor Driving Instructors,  to provide driving lessons, practical driving tests, help with getting a learner’s permit and information about how to deal with fines.
