Major Projects
New developments that affect all South Australians
A development proposal can be declared as a major project by the Minister for Planning if it is determined to be of economic, social or environmental importance to South Australia.
A declaration is the start of a thorough, state-run assessment process which provides opportunity for public comment before any decision is made. A declaration does not imply government support or otherwise for the proposal.
