2nd Major bridge installation - Main South Road and Southern Expressway

The second bridge to be installed on Main South Road over the Southern Expressway is currently being constructed offline on the section of land between Main South Road, Marion Road and the Southern Expressway (near Hungry Jacks) and will then be transported and lifted into place. The assembled bridge, weighing up to 3000 tonnes, will be transported and manoeuvred into its final position using self-propelled modular transporters. For further information please click here.
