ROAD CRASH SERIOUS INJURIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

559 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2020, compared with 658 during 2019.

58 people have been seriously injured in OCTOBER 2020.

41 serious injuries were males and 17 were females.

27 were vehicle occupants, 21 were motorcycle riders, 7 were bicycle or e-scooter riders and 3 were pedestrians.

In OCTOBER 2020, there were 18 serious injuries in the country and 40 in Adelaide.

Of the 55 serious injury crashes in OCTOBER 2020, 28 involved a single vehicle and 27 involved more than one vehicle.
54 crashes involved a single serious injury and 1 involved multiple serious injuries.
