KEY FACTS:

273 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2021, compared with 247 during 2020.

43 people have been seriously injured in APRIL 2021.

22 serious injuries were males and 21 were females.

25 were vehicle occupants, 8 were bicycle or e-scooter riders, 6 were motorcycle riders and 4 were pedestrians.

In APRIL 2021, there were 17 serious injuries in the country and 26 in Adelaide.

Of the 33 serious injury crashes in APRIL 2021, 17 involved a single vehicle and 16 involved more than one vehicle.
30 crashes involved a single serious injury and 3 involved multiple serious injuries.
