Easter Monday Motorists: Copper Coast Highway - August Highway Junction

01 Apr 2015

Motorists travelling from the Yorke Peninsula may experience delays this Easter Monday 6 April, due to the large volume of holiday traffic through Port Wakefield.

Traffic calming measures will be put in place at the junction of the Copper Coast Highway and the Augusta Highway junction to ensure safety for all road users. Traffic will be restricted to 25km/h on the approaches to junction with manual traffic control in place, where necessary.

These calming measures will assist in managing the high numbers of motorists expected to be heading home from the Yorke Peninsula on Monday.

Motorists are encouraged to be patient and responsible – by planning ahead and leaving a little earlier or later than usual, holiday makers may be able to avoid long delays on their return to Adelaide.
