(including DPTI Master Specification)
DPTI Request for Tender documents are prepared from standard templates, which are available by clicking on the following links:
The “Master Specification" is a suite of documents that DPTI uses as the basis of specifications for the design, construction and / or maintenance of transport infrastructure.
DPTI only uses the Master Specification under the supervision of professional civil engineers who are trained and experienced in the management of roadworks, bridgeworks and rail contracts. The Specification is designed for use where the Commissioner of Highways or Minister for Transport and Infrastructure is the Principal. Because each part of the Master Specification cross-references other parts, individual parts of the specification cannot be used in isolation. In construction contracts, the "Contract Specific Requirements" will describe any requirements or modifications to the Master Specification that are unique to that particular contract.
The specifications also reference DPTI Test Procedures and Calibration Procedures.
You are welcome to make comments and provide feedback regarding the specifications. For further information about DPTI specifications, contact Corporate Contracting and Procurement on (08) 8343 2029.
You may copy and use these specifications; however, if you use these documents for any purpose which is not consistent with the above (in particular, using them in contracts where the Commissioner of Highways or Minister of Transport is not the Principal), you do so at your own risk.
DPTI makes no representations or warranty that the Specifications have been prepared with reasonable care and does not assume a duty of care to you. DPTI has no responsibility to inform you of any matter coming to DPTI's notice which may affect the quality of the Specifications in any way. By downloading any specification from this site, you acknowledge and agree to DPTI's Disclaimer
