Manager Facilities Services

The Manager Facilities Services is responsible for providing high level leadership to staff across metropolitan and regional South Australia to lead and oversee the effective delivery of building facility management services for SA government departments. The role leads the establishment and management of facility management strategies, plans and outcomes.

Essential Minimum Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in asset management or building facility services at a senior level.

Special Conditions: Some out-of-hours work will be required. Intra/interstate travel necessitating overnight absences may be required.

Senior Electrical Engineer

The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for delivering specialist leadership for the management and review of complex electrical and traction power system projects and contracts that are associated with public transport services new works. The Senior Electrical Engineer provides expert advice, consultancy, review, oversight and recommendations to guide, inform and ensure the effective and compliant planning and delivery of relevant legislative, operational and safety requirements. The role is also responsible for providing effective leadership, management and development of the Rail Engineering team, which contributes to the safety and quality management of the workgroup and providing an effective customer service and a positive corporate image.

Essential Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, providing eligibility for membership as a Professional Engineer of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.

Special Conditions: Some work outside normal hours and some intra/interstate travel involving overnight absences may be required. Must be prepared to be assigned to another role at the appropriate classification level or equivalent. The incumbent is subject to, and must attend medical assessments in accordance with Rail Safety National Law (SA) 2012 legislative requirements and departmental policy.

HR Consultant (Pool)

Temporary for 12 Months (More than one position)

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure is seeking to establish a pool of experienced HR consultants to provide expert consultancy services across the Department on a range of complex issues. The pool will operate for a period up to 29 May 2015 and successful candidates will be eligible for employment opportunities of up to 12 months duration. Duties to be undertaken include the provision of expert advisory and consultancy services to the Department on a range of human resource management issues.

Essential Minimum Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification.
