Senior Asset Accountant

Manager Business Systems and Improvement

The Manager Business Systems & Improvement is accountable to the Director Strategic & Business Services for: providing leadership and strategic management to a range of functional teams ensuring appropriate business systems are in place to support and improve the operations of the Division; providing leadership to the establishment, improvement and maintenance of large Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems that facilitate the business activities of across Government/Industry stakeholders; managing a change-environment that involves a highly complex systems environment within government, stakeholder agencies and building industry expectations as well as a rapid pace of technological change; providing high level policy input that enhances the strategic position and operation of the Division and its business; significantly contributing to the operational and organisational management of the Directorate and Division.

Transport Safety Compliance Officer

The Transport Safety Compliance Officer (Passenger Transport) is responsible for a multi modal range of activities associated with the conduct of vehicle and taxi inspections, in accordance with Agency guidelines; ensuring that restricted access vehicles and other vehicles operating under exemption are roadworthy and comply with permit, code of practice and gazette notice conditions/specifications; enforcing and deterring actions where vehicles and taxis are operating in breach of relevant legislation, Agency policies, procedures and guidelines; the incumbent may be required to undertake compliance duties in other regulatory fields, including marine.

Essential Minimum Qualifications: Certificate IV In Government (Statutory Compliance) or equivalent.

Special Conditions: Operational responsiveness necessitates work around the State. Occasional intrastate travel and work outside of normal hours, at weekends and public holidays will be required. A current class “C” driver’s licence is required. Hours of work are 152 hours over a four week period, which may be worked on an irregular shift basis over the 24 hour day, seven days per week including public holidays. Must wear Agency uniform when required. The incumbent is subject to a satisfactory criminal history / record check in line with departmental policies and procedures. The incumbent must be suitable to be appointed as an Authorised Officer / Inspector under relevant State and Commonwealth Acts.

Maintenance Coordinator

Casual Customer Service Officer

Adelaide Metro Customer Service Officers provide our customers with a high level of customer service relating to public transport enquires across the Adelaide Metropolitan area, including providing extensive and accurate customer service responding to customer enquiries, promoting public transport and selling metrocards/tickets; providing extensive verbal and written communication skills to successfully liaise with a diverse customer network, including the ability to resolve sensitive or difficult situations & maintain personal integrity; extensive experience in working with electronic databases, including a high level of computer literacy and the ability to adapt to changing technologies within short time frames; experience in working in a fast paced changing environment, including embracing and championing change and applying initiative and judgment; experience in working in a team environment aligned with area values, including facilitating and building effective working relationships.

Special Conditions: More than one casual role is available, up to 15 hours per week. The incumbent will be required to work across the InfoLine and the two InfoCentres and may be requested to work elsewhere within the greater Adelaide metro area. Work outside of normal hours, at weekends and public holidays, will be required, including working over a 7 day roster. Hours of Operation are from 0430 am to 1230 am and there is no minimum guarantee of hours.
