Asset Administration Officer - Software Licensing

The Asset Administration Officer, Software Licensing is responsible for coordinating processes to ensure the effective, efficient, timely and economical provision of software licensing for the department to meet customer requirements and monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and managing the department’s software licenses, to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant agreements, standards and guidelines, and to ensure best value for money outcomes. This role is also responsible for liaising with internal and external software providers to negotiate and arrange, on behalf of customers, the acquisition of specific software and developing and implementing audit procedures and processes, and conducting audits for software assets contributing to the effective management and continuous improvement of the Unit.

Senior Pavement Engineer

Ongoing Role

The Senior Pavement Engineer is accountable to the Unit Manager, Pavement Engineering Unit to provide high quality and cost effective specialist design and advice in the areas of pavement design, analysis, rehabilitation, materials and condition assessment for a wide range of projects, and to undertake investigations which require comprehensive knowledge, professional responsibility, and judgement. The role is also involved in developing standards and guidelines and managing research and development projects.

Essential Minimum Qualifications: A degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

Special Conditions: Initial location will be at the Road Asset Management Section, 77 Grenfell Street, Adelaide. Some out of hours work and inter and intrastate travel involving overnight absences may be required. A current Driver’s Licence is essential.

Trades Coordinator

Design and Development Consultant

The Design and Development Consultant is responsible for: managing the design and development of training and assessment materials, tools and resources to support operational and regulatory obligations (including the provision of risk based training needs analysis); ensuring training and assessment materials, tools and resources designed and developed are in line with adult learning principles, best practice training and assessment and industry standards; recommend and provide expert advice on all aspects of instructional methodology, curriculum development, assessment measures, training platforms and delivery methods.

Water Polo Coach

The South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) is a South Australian Government initiative and is a division of the Office for Recreation and Sport. SASI is seeking to engage an outstanding Water Polo Coach who will coach a high performance Water Polo program to achieve success at national and international events. The role includes identifying, coaching and developing talented athletes and facilitating their progression through the athlete pathway resulting in national team selection.

Essential Minimum Qualifications: NCAS/Water Polo Australia Water Polo Coaching Accreditation (or overseas equivalent).

Special Conditions: A large proportion of work will be outside normal working hours. Intra/interstate travel is essential and international travel may be required. This role will be filled as a contract engagement for up to 5 years. A South Australian current Driver's Licence is essential. This role is a "prescribed role". Engagement will be subject to a satisfactory police check.

Contractor Compliance Officer

HR Consultant (Pool)

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure is seeking to establish a pool of experienced HR consultants to provide expert consultancy services across the Department on a range of complex issues. The pool will operate for a period up to 7 March 2014 and successful candidates will be eligible for employment opportunities of up to 12 months duration. Duties to be undertaken include the provision of expert advisory and consultancy services to the Department on a range of human resource management issues and support services and overall provision of leadership to the continuous improvement of HR related strategies and processes which contribute to the achievement of the Department’s organisational goals and objectives within an overall Government framework.

Essential Minimum Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification.

Special Conditions: May be required to work from/within other Departmental/Divisional locations. A flexible approach to working hours and the taking of leave is essential. Some out-of-hours work may be required and intra/interstate travel necessitating overnight absences may be required.
