Improving the quality and frequency of public transport to attract patronage, enhance social inclusion, improve the environment and provide a transport network that is safe and secure that meets community expectations, makes a positive contribution to the economy and has minimal impact on the environment.
Providing a range of services including human resources, contract and procurement, shared services, internal audit, information and communication technology (ICT) and business support.
Supporting the economic, social and environmental development of the state by identifying infrastructure priorities for South Australia (SA), coordinating infrastructure planning and development and facilitating the timely delivery of key projects.
Manages, controls, maintains, upgrades and operates state-owned road and marine transport assets; manages traffic on the arterial road network; provides services to plan and deliver state transport infrastructure projects; and contributes to the development of transport and road safety policy. The Division is also responsible for safety regulation of road, rail and marine transport and for compliance and enforcement operations.
The Office for Recreation and Sport (ORS) is the lead agency for the Government’s policy on sport and active recreation. ORS supports sport and recreation organisations through the development of policy, programs and resources, the provision of funding, recreation and sport planning, infrastructure development, elite sport pathways and the promotion of physical activity.
Provides advisory and management services to assist other government agencies manage the maintenance, replacement, refurbishment or disposal of buildings, office accommodation and government employee housing, and road, rail and marine property.
Provides services to business, the community and government in land administration services; facilities for the payment of government accounts and registration and licensing services.
