KEY FACTS:
  • 358 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2016, compared with 371 during 2015.


  • 52 people have been seriously injured in JUNE 2016.


  • 34 serious injuries were males and 18 were females.


  • 32 were vehicle occupants, 8 were pedestrians, 6 were cyclists and 6 were motorcycle riders.


  • In JUNE 2016, there were 19 serious injuries in the country and 33 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 44 serious injury crashes in JUNE 2016, 23 involved a single vehicle and 21 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 40 crashes involved a single serious injury and 4 involved multiple serious injuries.
